Product Details:
Title: Memories of a Dream
Artist: Kelly O'Brien
Medium: Mixed Media (Acrylic, Oil Stick, Gold Leaf)
Dimensions: 24 x 48 x 1.5 inches
Description:
Inspired by Cormac McCarthy’s All the Pretty Horses, and the young rider who knows that “whatever awaited him he would ride to meet it.”
Memories of a Dream holds that feeling of a night on the trail: the others asleep, the stars wheeling overhead, and the open country waiting at first light. Gold leaf catches the light the way memory does, bright in some places and gone in others.
Why You'll Love It:
Literary Roots: A painting that carries the spirit of one of the great Western novels.
Gold Leaf Detail: Hand-applied leaf shifts with the light throughout the day.
Versatile Format: The 24x48” panoramic shape fits above a console, sideboard, bed, or sofa.
About the Artist:
Kelly O’Brien is a Deaf multidisciplinary artist from the Texas Hill Country whose work sits at the intersection of personal history and universal story.
Transform Your Space:
Warm, luminous, and full of motion, Memories of a Dream brings the romance of the open range into any room.
